How I started my journey with LinuxWorld ? How did I know about Vimal Sir & Arth program ?
⫸ Brief Introduction
Hello Everyone, I hope you all are doing great.
First I want to introduce little bit about myself, My name is Deepak. I am B.tech final year student from Mechanical background.
⫸ Journey Before Linux World
You can might think if I am from mechanical then why I choose this computer science field. After completing my 6th semester, I realize that I have completed my three years in mechanical but still I don’t have much practical knowledge about my field. Also I had not built any great project in this period.
Six month back, one of my classmate named Heman told me about python. Till date I was not familiar with the words like python, machine learning, data science etc. She told me it’s very easy to learn & also told me something about data science. So I started learning python from youtube. It’s the lockdown period so I had the enough time to learn. And we all know this quote;
“ A Journey Of A Thousand Miles Begins With A Single Step ” — LAO-TZU
That’s how I have taken my first step in this computer science field. After that I never stopped learning. I always tried to explore more & more about the things.
⫸ Journey After Linux World
One day I saw a message in Telegram & that message was like somebody will start teaching python & flask on youtube soon. I also wanted to learn the python that’s why I registered there. Initially, I thought it will be like normal as like all others are teaching on youtube. I never thought about it seriously.
And the day 8 August came when I attended the first session of Vimal Sir on IIEC_connect youtube channel. It is very harder to believe for me that how can somebody teach like this & also free of cost. In that session, vimal sir taught us about Interpreter, RAM, Variables etc in a very simpler way. That day I come to know about Vimal Sir & IIEC Rise Community.
Before attending this session, I had seen so many channels on youtube for python but nobody was talking about the concepts that vimal sir told us in the first seession.
★ Turning Point of My Life
After some days, I came to know Vimal Sir is going to launch a program soon & the name of that program was ARTH.

★ Journey In ‘Arth-The School of Technologies’
Starting journey with ARTH was not a easy decision for me. I knew ARTH is going to start soon but I had no plan to join it because of my financial conditions. But there is a one person who motivates & realize me the importance of this program & she told me this chance will never come again in your life. She was Priyanka Nahar mam from IIEC Community & I will be always grateful for you mam. Then I thought atleast I should register for this program & if I wouldn’t be able to pay the fees then I will discontinue it after one month because there was a facility to pay the fees in installments. Thats’s how I started my journey in ARTH. This program started on 12 Sept & from that day to till date I felt this was the my best decision in life. 🙌🙌
I feel very proud to be an Arth learner. Every member here is like a my family member. Because they are always ready for support & help😍😍
★ What I Learnt In ARTH So Far
In this journey, till date we have covered 66 sessions in which I learnt many technologies & most important part is their integration.
Some of them technologies are:

◆ DevOps — Docker, Ansible
◆ AWS Cloud
◆ Python
◆ Linux
◆ Machine Learning
In future I will learn many more technologies from Technology Guru Vimal Daga Sir. I have never seen such kind of person who is the master in so many technologies & so much honest for everyone.
One most important thing, it’s not only about technical knowledge that I learnt from Vimal Sir. His wordings & thoughts are so much heart touching or inspirational & bring a huge change in my social behaviour.
Some of them are:
➠ One thing he always says, do help & share the things to everyone because that is the only thing through which revise your concepts again & again.
➠ According to vimal sir, you can’t do much with the knowledge of single technology. To create something amazing you should know multiple technologies & their integration.
➠ Most important thing he always believe that is right education. Only with the knowledge of right concepts you can become a creater.
➠ According to him, we should never focus on completing the content, keep focus on understanding core concepts.
➠ He strongly believes none of the technology is difficult because it is created by the humans.
And how can I forget my favourite Preeti Daga mam. She is the backbone of Linux World. I love the way of talking of Preeti mam. She manages each & everything related to the program.
Now I am thinking if they didn’t come in my life how could I survive in this technical world. Not only in terms of knowledge, in every aspect they changed my life.
Finally I would say this is the bestest gift I got by 2020 in my life.
I will be always grateful to my classmate or my friend Heman because she always helped & motivated me whenever I felt low in my starting phase. And I am very thankful to one more person Priyanka mam only because of her today I am in Arth.
